the original and historic Glen Isla dating back to
1870, set in 2 acres of authentic and very private heritage
gardens with direct access to the beach.
Glen Isla House offers elegant country-house
accommodations with fine chef-prepared food.
We do not offer "apartments"
here at Glen Isla House!
We do however offer very fine and world
famous hospitality, as we have for the past 10 years from
resident hosts and owners who reside on site...

WINTER
RECESS 2013
Our Gate
Cottage (2 BR self-cater cottage) will be operating throughout
our annual winter recess this year.
Our resident
caretakers during the winter recess, Martin & Sarah will
be on hand at Gen Isla to assist guests with check-in/check-out
etc.

(Note 2-night minimum stay
applies at all times for the Gate Cottage)
*** Our Glen Isla
kitchen and dining room is now closed for the winter recess,
and will resume in the Spring - 1st week of September 2013.
*** The Anderson
Heritage Suite and Classic Deluxe Rooms will be closed from
end of May 2013 and reopen to welcome guests in the
Spring - 1st week of September.
During our annual
winter recess, we undertake our maintenance works and deep
cleaning of our accommodations at our heritage property.

We've installed new solar panels at Glen Isla!
Our aim is to
utilise clean renewable energy for our power requirements
during the day. Our solar panels get both the morning
and afternoon sun. We have 2 systems - each with 4.5kw
capacity.
The extensive and
private gardens are
beautiful and green at
Glen Isla with glorius scents and garden blooms in the
authentic heritage gardens.
