Phillip Island is accessible from the
mainland by a substantial permanent three lane bridge of some

From Melbourne take the Monash Freeway (M1)
turn off onto the Cranbourne exit - South Gippsland Highway
(M420), and follow this to the Bass Highway (A420) which leads
to San Remo. Follow the signs to Phillip Island.
Once across the bridge, follow the main road
(B420) into Cowes.
Turn left at the 3rd roundabout (Church Street)
and 1.5 km to the west, on the right hand side, you'll see
the gates to Glen Isla at 230-232 Church Street. Look
for the long high white fence of Glen Isla and the elegant
overhanging sign on the
gate "Glen Isla House"

from the main township of Cowes (shops, restaurants etc)
A pristine sandy (swimming) beach
is just 120 meters away with direct access from the back
gate of Glen Isla House.
The Penguins and Koalas are 10
minutes drive away, and the Grand Prix Circuit is also
around 10 minutes drive from Glen Isla House.
