Rates - Tariffs
We offer the same tariff/rate any day
of the week*. We do not put a loading on our
rates/tariff's at weekends like most properties.
* Unfortunately, we do now have to
surcharge our rates for Christmas/New Years Eve/New Years Day &
Public Holidays to cover the very significant hospitality
penalty wage rates we are required to pay over these periods.
Otherwise we generally have
the same rates/tariff any day of the week.
Please note this is an autentic heritage
property with historic wells and a large unfenced fish

potential safety hazards to younger children**. We have no facilities for children under
the age of 12 years!
**Glen Isla House is an adult-style
retreat - we welcome children 12 years and older.
Most of our guests book with us because
they know that there will not be infants and young children in
our main guest accommodations and public areas.
We do not have folding or roll-a-way

Alas a modest increase has been made from 01JAN16 to cover
continued cost increases we've experienced in electricity and gas,
water rates, council rates and food costs. We have recently installed a
4.3KW solar system in the business in an attempt to
contain the electricity cost increases. Time will
tell if we've been successful!
Despite increases in Land Tax
State Governments over a number of years on our historic
heritage property, we're still able offer refined and elegant
accommodations at our historic property.

|The Gate Cottage
Two-bedroom, two-storey self
contained/self-cater elegant cottage set in the
heritage gardens adjacent
to two 100-year old oak trees. Rates are per
night - Accommodation Only/Self Cater basis.
Rates for 2 people are for the master bedroom
to be made-up (1 x King Bed) only.

motorhomes - please contact us if you plan to bring a
motorhome to Glen Isla!
All vehicles are parked at owners/guests
risk. We do not accept any responsibility for damage to

Please book online at our

PAYMENT UP FRONT! There are No Booking Fees.
We require valid credit card details (or payment of one nights

a booking/reservation. (We do not accept tentative

your booking is CONFIRMED and secured by a valid credit
card, we guarantee your reservation and we will hold your
Cancellation of a confirmed
reservation/booking up to 7 full days before the day of arrival
will incur an administrative charge of AUD$50.00 per room at
Cancellation within 7 days of arrival,
will incur one nights accommodation (at the tariff for the
booked room) charge as cancellation fee regardless of the reason
for the cancellation, unless we are able to resell the room.
A no-show (non-arrival without prior notification) for a confirmed booking will

NON SMOKING Policy
All inside areas including our rooms and bathrooms etc are absolutely
NON SMOKING at all times.
Should we determine that guests
have been smoking in our room areas, we will charge a minimum
of AUD$800 to have the room professionally stripped, cleaned
and sanitised. If we are unable to re-let the room. while
it is being refurbished/sanitised, we reserve the right to charge the
ruling daily tariff for those nights also. It is a condition
of staying with us that you agree to our non-smoking policy
(otherwise we suggest you find other accommodations - we are
passionate about this aspect of our business and make no
apologies for this policy).
Providing it does not
interfere with the enjoyment of other guests, we have no
objection to guests smoking in the garden areas away from the
