Rates - Tariffs
We offer the same inclusive tariff/rate all year
round - any day of the year. We do not put a loading our tariff's for the summer
period or at weekends.
Please note we have no facilities for children under
the age of 12 years! Glen Isla House is an adult-style
retreat.
Our tariffs are quoted in Australian Dollars
and inclusive of Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST) and
all service charges.
Our rooms offer a small refrigerator for your
use, and are not 'mini-bars' with ridiculously
priced beverages! Reasonably priced beverages are available
from our private cellar or the bar on request. Ask to see our
wine list...
Secure off-street parking inside the
grounds provided for
your vehicle (free) - security lighting and not in public view.
FREE high speed internet access
via our secure WiFi wireless network (your notebook/PC will need a wireless
card and you will need our access password).

| The Gate Cottage |
|
| Two-bedroom, two-storey self
contained/self-cater luxury cottage set in the
heritage gardens adjacent
to two 100-year old oak trees. Rates are per
night.
Fully equipped
kitchen (gas stove, microwave oven, dishwasher,
refrigerator), dining, lounge with widescreen
HD LCD TV (also DVD/VCR/CD & Hi Fi).. Master bedroom with
queen bed and second bedroom with twin single beds -
shared spacious bathroom with shower over hip bath.
The Gate Cottage is offered
on a "self-cater bed & breakfast" basis,
with full breakfast provisions placed in the pantry
for guests to prepare their own cooked or continental
breakfast. Accommodates up to 4 adults. These
facilities are unsuitable for children. Two-night
minimum stay at all times.
For stays of 7 days or more, a mid-stay room
service is included in the tariff. For stays of
less than 7 days, room servicing is available as
follows.
- Room service including beds made, bins emptied,
kitchen tidy-up (no dishes included) and bathroom
amenities replenisihed. $25.00
- Room service including linen change, bins
emptied, kitchen tidy-up, dishwasher filled or emptied
and bathroom amenities replensihed $38.00
(The Gate Cottage is not officially AAA
Toursim star rated. It is however elegantly
decorated and furnished to the same standards of
elegance as throughout our AAA Tourism 5 star rated hosted
accommodations above.)

Massage by Professional Massuer
We can arrange for massage in the privacy of your own room by
a local qualified (lady) masseur. She presently charges
$80.00 per hour (can also be 2 x 1/2 hour for you and your partner
but minimum 1 hour) and payment is direct to the
masseur. We do not add any costs to this service. Please
call in advance for arrangements.
The Fine Print
For our hosted accommodations, one-night stays are welcome! But
do note we have a minimum night stay policy on long weekend/public holiday weekends and special events.
The Gate Cottage is a 2-night minimum stay at all
times.
Check-in time: from 3pm to
7:00pm (later
if prior arrangements are made before arrival)
Check-out time: 11am
We can
recommend a selection excellent restaurants nearby to Glen
Isla, and we have their menus available here at Glen Isla for
guests to peruse. We do not cater for weddings, and we do
not operate a restaurant open to the public.
Wine List & Bar
Glen Isla is fully licensed for guests. Choose a wine to
enjoy on the terrace from the wine list (we also serve some wines by
the glass). The Glen Isla private cellar has some hard to find labels
and vintages as well as a selection of local wines to choose
from. The bar also stocks beers and spirits for a pre-dinner
drink or post-dinner night-cap.
(Please note, since we
are licensed, we do not
allow BYO drinks in the dining room area and guest
lounge at any time)
Our booking and cancellation policy
We require valid credit card details (or payment of one nights
tariff in advance) to secure
a booking/reservation.
A depositis not required (unless your reservation
is not able to be secured by a valid credit card). When
your booking is CONFIRMED and secured by a valid credit
card, we guarantee your reservation and we will hold your
room..
Cancellation of a confirmed
reservation/booking up to 7 days before the day of arrival
will incur an administrative charge of AUD$50.00 per room. Cancellation within 7 days of arrival,
will incur one nights accommodation (at the tariff for the
booked room) charge as cancellation fee regardless of the reason
for the cancellation, unless we are able to resell the room.
Settlement
We accept Cash, EFTPOS (for Australian Card Holders), Visa
and MasterCard as settlement.
We also accept AMEX and Diners, but
please note we have to charge a 3% levy
on AMEX and Diners payments to cover the additional
merchant fees and handling costs associated with American
Express and Diners Club transactions. We regret we are
unable to accept cheques at check-out time.
NON SMOKING Policy
All inside areas including our rooms and bathrooms etc are absolutely
NON SMOKING at all times.
Should we determine that guests
have been smoking in our room areas, we will charge a minimum
of AUD$500 to have the room professionally stripped, cleaned
and sanitised. If we are unable to re-let the room. while
it is being refurbished, we reserve the right to charge the
ruling tariff for those nights also. Providing it does not
interfere with the enjoyment of other guests, we have no
objection to guests smoking in the garden areas!
